The Red Record

This short narrative film features a Native American family as they read their history from a set of wooden tablets known as the Walam Olum—a set of 183 glyphs etched in birch tablets carried through the line of 95 chiefs for at least 3,000 years. These tablets carry the history of Creation, the beginning of mankind, Satan's role in corrupting the earth and humanity, the worldwide Flood, Noah's role in saving the human line, the giants, and the post-Babel dispersion of the Native people to America.
